Kitsune Noir Mixcasts

He’s been doing these for a while now but I am just stumbling upon them, so far they’re great — they make me want to go home tonight, turn the lights low and be creative. Cool covers as well.

Kid Cudi, Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast), and Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend) came together for Converse’s “Three Artists. One Song” new track “All Summer”. Love the video.

Here’s another free album download via the ISO50 blog. It’s a mix of songs, both new and old, from the label Moodgadget.

I posted the album artwork for Trent Reznor’s new band How To Destroy Angels (by Mark Weaver) last week. Today the album is available for download (for free), definitely worth checking out, and if you’re not a NIN fan like myself then there’s nothing to worry about because it’s got a much different sound.

Video above is the official music video for the song The Space In Between.

If you love the visuals of ISO50 and the sounds of Tycho (both Scott Hansen) you will be sure to love that of Paul Tebbott. Like Hansen he is both a graphic designer and an electronic musician. These guys make me want to join in in producing both sights and sounds. Check out Paul’s work here, and get two of his EP’s free here.

I love music, and since I’m at a computer all day, for at least 5 days a week, I am always looking for new music. Below is a link to download Viking Funeral EP by Mux Mool, a Ghostly International artist. I had only heard a few tracks by him previously, but based on this—I will taking a listen to more very soon. Some great beats, enjoy!
“Five tracks, five different shades of Mux; but the Viking Funeral EP is just the tip of the iceberg. Skulltaste is lurking below the waterline, and it goes down for miles.”

If you didn’t know “the Queen City” is a nickname for Buffalo, the town I will always call home. If you’ve ever seen my hat collection, or some of the decor in my apartment—you’d know that I try and represent for my city as best I can. Anyways, last week, I got my hands on Lil’ Waynes newest mixtape, “No Ceilings”. The free mixtape features 18, some remixes and some beats I don’t seem to recognize. One of my favorite tracks is “Break Up” because rapper Gudda Gudda gives my home town and home team a shout out when he raps (skip to about 2:45 in) “All about my Bills, like Buffalo”. I know this is more of an acknowledgment than a shout out but I don’t think I’ve ever even heard a rapper do that before. And, he’s right we are all about the Bills—which is why I’m still posting this after ANOTHER disappointing loss against the Jets last Thursday. Tear.

Download the mixtape here. Looks shady, but it’s legit!
