A beautifully shot, short, documentary following “The Men of Harvard Lacrosse”, made by Drew Innis.
“Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon” came out today, I’ve already watched it and it’s a great look into their rise. Whether you’re a fan, or a hater, I recommend it highly.

Ira Glass speaking about the early years of being a “creative” person, when your taste doesn’t necessarily align with the work your doing. Great stuff, and incredibly true.
Up There is a short film about the fading tradition of hand painted advertising, great stuff.
NY-Z is a mini-documentary shot Dancy Clinch featuring Jay-Z (for Absolut Vodka). If something like this is going to be funded by brand, Absolut is definitely an acceptable one. They’ve always harnessed the power of the creative industry quite well.

Until just a few minutes ago, I was one of those people judging the city of Detroit. Julien Temple recently completed the film Requiem for Detroit? and it aired on BBC a week or so ago. Chances are, no matter where you live now, or where you have lived before, you need to see this 74 minute film.
